The couple landed in Montréal and visited the cancer and neonatal units of Ste. Justine University Hospital, before their evening engagement/dinner. The royal duo donned cooking smocks and worked on a few French dishes, before joining Jean Charest and his wife for a private supper. Kate maintained her silver accessories from her morning in Ottawa for her visit to the hospital and youth center, but changed them for black accessories before arriving for her dinner engagement at the ITHQ. That evening, William and Kate boarded the HMCS Montréal and sailed the St. Laurence through the night to their next stop, Québec City.
