Kate made her come-back engagement after a summer bonding with her new daughter, at the Anna Freud Centre in London. The visit, which focused on children's mental health, featured a cause that is close to the Duchess's heart. Kate chose a Ralph Lauren dress from the designer's pricey Black Label, and officially debuted her new (fringe--UK, bangs--US) to the public. Fans got a glimpse of the "new-do" on Sunday when the royal was snapped attended a Sunday service at Crathie Kirk.
Kensington Palace released a statement regarding today's visit, and Kate's work on mental health:
"The Anna Freud Centre is focussed on reducing the burden of mental health difficulties carried by children and young people by offering a holistic approach to tackling the issue. The charity is creating a new Community Campus, where experts in mental health, neuroscience and education will work together with children and families on developing new treatments and approaches. During the visit, The Duchess will learn about the AFC’s development plan for the Campus, including its research and training programmes, which helps train over 3,000 professionals in this field each year."
