The Duchess of Cambridge paid a morning visit to the Ronald McDonald House in London. This facility provides a "home away from home" for the families of children undergoing treatment at the nearby Evelina London Children's Hospital. Some families have to travel considerable distance and stay near a hospital for protracted periods of time.
