Princess Charlotte’s Christening

The Royals gathered with the Middletons at Sandringham's Mary Magdalene Church for Princess Charlotte's christening. Kate and William walked with George, and Charlotte in a pram to the church for the short service. Afterward, the families returned to the Queen's home for a tea that included a tier from the Cambridges' wedding cake.
Jane's Verdict: "I loved this. Kate's ensemble is very retro, very 1940s, and it fit perfectly with the historic occasion that this was, in addition to the lovely, bucolic setting. Jane Taylor got the hat just right--it seems to be a favorite shape for Kate--and the coat flattered her figure beautifully! Adding the Mappin & Webb "Empress" set was the perfect finishing touch. Kate was every inch the princess."
