William and Kate flew to Adelaide for a day of engagements. They began at Northern Sound System in a Elizabeth. The suburb of Adelaide was founded in 1955 and named after William's grandmother, Her Majesty Elizabeth II. The Northern Sound System is a facility for youth development via music. William and Kate visited with the young artists, heard some rap demonstrations and even got to try their hand at a little DJing. They visited the nearby skate park, where they were gifted a personalized board for George.

They attended a reception hosted by the governor and premier of South Australia and undertook a walkabout to cheering crowds, before flying back to Canberra.
