On the day the royal couple flew to Malaysia, they first visited Singapore's Kranji War Memorial where the paid their respects to the fallen servicemen of Britain and the Commonwealth who died defending Singapore in World War II.
William and Kate then flew to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia where they had lunch at the Prime Minister's residence, before they made their way to Hospis Malaysia, the largest care facility for terminally ill children in the area. Kate visited with the children and delivered her second public address, and first address given overseas.
N.B. Kate did not carry a clutch at Kranji, but she did carry one to lunch at the Prime Minister's residence.
