ANZAC Day & Airport Farewell
ANZAC Day & Airport Farewell

The Cambridges were guests of honor at the ANZAC Day March and Commemorations. The two paid their respects at the Tomb of the Unknown, planted a tree in the Memorial Garden, and placed poppies in the Roll of Honor wall. They then proceeded to the airport, where they waved goodbye on the steps of their military transport at Defence Establishment Fairbairn, before flying to Sydney. In Sydney, they transferred to a commercial jetliner for the flight home to London.
