For years, Robinson Pelham specialized exclusively in creating custom works of jewelry for clients. Although they have now opened stores with ready-to-wear lines, their most famous custom creation remains the diamond drop earrings for Kate Middleton's wedding. Michael and Carole had these made for their daughter, in addition to acorn-themed pieces for each member of the family. The oak leaves echo the scroll of the Cartier Halo tiara Kate wore on the 29th, and the delicate pavé-set diamond acorns are taken from the Middleton coat of arms where they represent the three Middleton siblings: Kate, Pippa, and James. The earrings are estimated at £15,000.
